Open a product document when you need to inspect product evidence that has been attached to a project for infringement analysis. Product documents can include PDFs, images, audio files, or MP4 videos, and &AI turns them into searchable, chartable project materials.

Open a product document

Go to the Files page in your project.
Open the relevant product from the product area in Key Files or from the All Files table.
Select the document you want to review, then open its full detail page when you need the full workspace.

A single product can have multiple source documents attached to it, such as a PDF manual, product photos, and a teardown video.

Review product details and attached documents

The product workspace shows the product's documents, extracted text, figures, and metadata in one place. Use it when you need to confirm what evidence is already attached to the product and whether the product record has the right supporting materials.

Common fields to review include:

Figures extracted from the product documents
Seller name
Product URL
Extracted metadata from the uploaded materials

Work with text and chartable passages

Product document text is split into chunks so you can search it, review it, and use it in charting workflows.

Use in-document search to find specific product language quickly.
Use the chartable filter when you only want to review passages that are relevant for charting.
Copy, review, and work from extracted text the same way you would with other document-backed evidence in the project.

Work with media documents

&AI supports several media types for product evidence:

Images open in an image viewer for zoomed visual review.
Audio and video open with a built-in player so you can play, pause, and scrub through the file directly in &AI.
Transcripts appear alongside audio and video files in time-synchronized chunks so you can read along or jump to a specific section.

Review video key moments

For supported video documents, the product workspace also shows a Key Moments section. This section surfaces frame-based video moments as individual reviewable chunks.

Use Key Moments when you want to inspect important frames without scrubbing through the full video manually.
Click a key moment to review the visual evidence and jump to the corresponding point in the media.
Key moments can be reviewed alongside transcript text so the visual and spoken evidence stay easier to compare.

Edit seller name and product URL

You can update the product's identifying fields directly from the product detail view:

Seller name — update this when the vendor or manufacturer label needs correction
Product URL — update this when the linked listing or source page should point somewhere else

Keeping these fields accurate makes it easier to organize products and trace evidence back to the right source.
