Use product search when you need evidence about real-world products rather than patents or papers. This is the main search workflow for accused-product discovery, and it can also support product-oriented prior-art research.
This workflow is available on PRO plans. Running searches costs tokens.
Product search now runs inside a Search Agent thread rather than a separate search session.
Open the product-search workflow
Start on the project's Search page and click New search.
Choose the target patent you want to search against and optionally add a title for the thread. Once the thread opens, tell Search Agent that you want product evidence.
Tell Search Agent what kind of product evidence you need
A strong product-search prompt usually includes:
the product family, manufacturer, or market you care about
the claim limitations or product features that matter most
any sites or source types that should be prioritized or avoided
whether the search is for infringement work or product-oriented prior-art support
Use follow-up prompts when you want Search Agent to focus on manufacturer sites, tighten or widen the market, or explain why a product looks like a strong or weak candidate.
Review product finalists carefully
Product finalists are built for evidence triage. Review whether the result looks like the right product or product family, whether the source is trustworthy enough to use, and whether the product is strong enough to justify deeper processing.
Approve the finalists you want to keep and reject the ones you do not want to use.
Add strong products into the project
When you are ready, use + Add Selected.
Approved product finalists create or update project products and then route into product processing and downstream charting work.
After the search
From here, keep refining the same thread with tighter manufacturer or source guidance, add the strongest products into the project, or continue into downstream analysis.
